I was there at 9:00 am and the parking lot which is huge was jammed. It was very busy and about as crowded as I have ever seen it and I have been attending it since the 70's. People were still coming in as we were leaving at around noon.

I did pick up two MTH premier flat cars with army tanks at a very good price. And two friends of mine also picked up some cars at a great price. All in All a good show.

I got there at 9, and yep the parking lot was crowded. Did the train meet shuffle up and down the isles for about 3 hrs. Only found one item on my list. Then as I was checking out some items I noticed a MTH 20-5504-1 GG1, the dealer said it was a shelf queen all it's life. I originally  had no plans on buying one, but at the price, I couldn't pass it up. Very pleased with my purchase.

I was there with David1 and was very surprised how crowded it was. I guess with good weather, on a day in January, this will bring more folks out of their winter hibernation. All of the attendee's at this show did what Trussman stated: "Did the train meet shuffle up and down the isles". I've attended this show many times over the years with David1 and I wish that the organizers would mark the aisles as one way with arrows on the floor, much like they do at York in the Member Halls. It sure would make walking the aisles a little easier, especially on this day, IMO.

The next Hamburg meets are scheduled for June 2nd, July 28th, and September 8th, 2019. Next year the first meet is January 26, 2020. All times are 9AM - 1PM. From past experience, if you pre-register and have your badge, you can actually get in prior to the public opening time.

SCRAMBLER81 - it would be worth the drive from Hammonton, at least one time, to check the show out. As with most shows, you may just find that one engine, rolling stock or accessory piece you have been looking for!
