Thank you, Mike!  I will pass along your wishes also to my father (a Korean War vet).  At my house, it's definitely a Lionel Christmas, with my daughter's O gauge Hogwart's Express currently running, with the Polar Express and the 1998 tinplate Lionel Christmas freight set on the sidings!

Merry Christmas Mike!  This is the best time of the year to share trains with our family and friends.  We did just that at my school.  We had a Polar Express event that was simply magical!  I posted this on our district's Facebook page.  If you are not a Facebooker here are some still shots on my school's homepage.  If you look closely, you will see the ATSF Northern that you helped me with earlier this year!  Now I have a year to hunt down scale  Polar Express cars for next year!

 

In a way you helped may this event possible.  Thanks for all of your help.  Merry Christmas.

Lionel has been a big part of my family's holiday for many decades. These days we have the old 2046 set chugging along on tubular, next to the Legacy engines on Fastrack.
