I felt like tinkering on this engine this week. When I first got it, it was equipped with EOB. For some reason I didn't like the way it ran and put in ERR cruise and ran it without sound. I was running it for a while on the new layout but I needed an R2LC for another project and this became a donor for it. I had kept all the original TAS factory installed electronics and got it all reinstalled along with the original Turbo Smoke (removed when I did the ERR install). I also fixed up the cab a bit, replacing all the glass and putting in an Artista crew. Here's some quick photos and a YouTube vid I did with my phone.

As usual, awesome.

Thanks Jerry!
Norm - what do you use for ballast - cinder fill? It looks like the gritty right of way one would have seen in the steam era, particularly a heavily used main like Pennsy's.
Mark I use Woodland Scenic fine cinders over sand fill.

Awesome result. What was the make of the Engine 3rd rail??
Steve
Yes Steve, Sunset/Third Rail.
Great stuff Norm! Always impressive.
Great video of a neat train. Like the car selection especially and the sound as well.
well done!
Glad you guys like it. With two long freights on the mains, I have to stop them at NB tower, set the crossovers and run this against traffic a bit. I so need to build staging!
Looks good Norm. Like the GGD cars too.
