A friend said he had some old train stuff to get rid off and wanted to know if I would take it. I said yes and received a box of HO items I can't use.
I know some of you also have HO equipment in addition to your O scale layout, so I'm offering the items here if anybody is interested. There are two (2) engines; assorted rolling stock (the yellow car is actually a track cleaning car with a pad on the bottom); more than 25 pieces of assorted track; some telephone poles; two (2) buildings; and a transformer.
The transformer works and when I hooked it up directly to the engines, one of them spun up (slowly). The cab light in the other engine came on but did not run. Most of the rolling stock is missing a wheel, axle, coupler or some other item. The track looks ok, but I'm no expert in HO track. The telephone poles are in decent shape. The buildings are missing some pieces and in rough condition. Pic's are below.
Looks like it would make a good restoration project, so I'm selling the whole package "as is, where is" with no guarantees of any kind - "what you see, is what you get" - for $50.00, plus $20.00 in shipping by priority mail. I'll take money order, certified check, charge, or Paypal.
