I'm not sure what it really gains you. On a related note some folks have reported a lot of hours on brand new PS2 engines. More than a test run so how accurate it is could be questioned.
Don't know if PS3s are better at keeping track.

Different strokes I guess. Some use it as a selling point but since some have already reported hours and mileage on their new engines, I think it is misleading.
Since I have a regular maintenance schedule it doesn't help me there. I guess if you keep track you could keep logs. Yeah neat feature I guess but there are other things I'd rather have on a Legacy equipped engine like coupler slack.
