As I've mentioned before, I have a 2 year old that has shown that he loves trains (And trucks and air planes...), so I bought a couple of the LionChief Thomas RTR sets.  Well, when I got to work this morning, my wife had messaged me that he had gone into the back room where I have an old small layout setup for him to run them on.  With no hesitation at all he plugged in the transformer, turned it on, picked up the LC remote and turned it on, and then moved Percy on out.  And this was all before my wife even knew he was back there.

Once I get my layout built, I may just have to "lock" it out with a key so he doesn't do the same with my trains...

Only if he gets a job and buys his own iPad.  Don't own one, nor have any interest in the iPad control scheme.  But I was hopeing for more like Cab-1 at 4 and Legacy at 6, but we'll see.

He knows how to flip the switch, as he's done that to me in the past with a carpet loop running with a PH180 and TMCC lockon.  He got the surge protector and PH180 turned on while I was still trying to get the locomotive on the track!  Gave daddy quite the shock if you know what I mean.  And he also knows keys are for locks as he always tries to take ours and open the house or car.  He also knows after you open the car door, the same key goes in the ignition...

Outstanding. Consider that a license to buy buy buy! haha. My boy is 3.5 and still primarily plays with his wooden Thomas stuff. Runs track through out the house. Its awesome. Sometimes we go to the attic where all dads trains are and I let him play with some HO stuff where he gets frustrated with it. All part of brainwashing him into loving the o gauge.
