If I read correctly the depot was registered as a historical site in 1974 then how were they allowed to remove the william crooks engine in 1975?
and with all the renovations to restore depot I would have thought this engine would have been returned as well.
so those that were living in the area at the time can you give a reason as to why they decided to move the william crooks engine and why it wasn't restored to the base it sat on instead of jack hammering it out?
seeing they wanted to restore depot to its former glory this would have been a part of it as well, just curious is all.
