Installing motors in dummy unit

I doubt that Lionel will reprogram the module, George has the right idea if you really want to go down this road.

On other 3 rail dummy engines, Lionel has not put pickups, no lighting, back up light, etc. I guess that's mostly prototypical running but not fun. I looked into putting pickups on one but the parts cost is so high, you might as well buy a powered one.

You are correct, having to buy the 691-BEMC card as well as the other parts make
buying another power unit a better choice. Thanks again.
