Jeff - That's if you're on a computer - I don't have that box on the iPhone.

Flash - I know I can work around it, but why the need? Personally I use Flickr, not Photobucket but its a hastle...I can upload direct from the app for a new topic...seems like it should be relatively easy to add the attachement option to the reply box as well.  Other than that, the app is awesome.  It's really helped bring me back to the forum after a long absence...and in some ways has features better than accessing from a computer.

I have same issue. Tried to cut and paste but no go. Lots of times I will not reply to a post because A picture tells a thousands words and no one really wants to read a description of something I have made or have when everyone else has pics. Only rarely will I boot up PC to post a pic. And if I start a post with a pic and people want to see more, the thread is usually 30-50 posts old by time I get to repost. Would love to see an upgrade/ fix or workaround. Asked before and good to know that I am not alone. Lots of times I am posting from layout and frustrating especially if I am looking for some feedback on what I am working on. Thanks Love this Forum and just subscribed after being on for a year. (putting my money where my mouth usually, so to speak) Lol lLOL

Instructions:

To upload pictures using an Apple iPad or iPhone, here is what you need to do.

1. Download the Chrome (google) web browsing app.

2. Download the Photobucket app.

3. Upload your pictures to Photobucket using the app.

4. while in Photobucket, select the picture you want to upload, then touch the little "i" in the bottom right corner, then touch the IMG code.

It should then say IMG code copied.

5. Open Chrome and go to the OGR forum, select "request desktop site" in the settings so the forum looks just like it does on a PC.

6. Create your post, paste the IMG code you just copied directly into the text entry block.

7. touch submit.

Here's a thread from Hoop-dot-La support that discusses this upload issue. You need iOS6 or newer on your iPhone or use the workaround posted.

Excerpt from the end:

"The general rules are:

- Any device that supports Adobe Flash file uploads will be able to support uploads via the Standard interface.

- Any device that supports HTML5 file upload will support uploads via the Mobile interface.

For iPhones, photos and videos can be uploaded on any device running iOS 6 or higher.

For iPads, uploads are currently not supported at all.

For Android, Windows mobile, and other phones/tablets, it will depend on if the device supports uploads generally in the web browser via HTML5 or Flash. With the exception of the iPad, file uploads should be supported generally on the vast majority of modern mobile smart phones and tablets currently on the market (made within the past few years)."
