Item number?
Yes, Joe it is scale sized.
Thanks Chris. For Hot Water. SKU: 6-82414
This will match well with MTH's new CNJ coaches. Assuming they are era appropriate..
The Camelback Lionel made was tooled in 1999/2000 and they just carried it over into the LC+ line
But, the Lionel catalog states ... "Scale Type: Traditional"
Traditional does not necessarily mean semi-scale?
Matt
I measured my earlier LC+ Camelback and it does have scale dimensions. I am sure the newer one is also scale.
How can they make the Camelback any smaller?

Yes.
I am not trying to hijack your thread but I would like to know if all contemporary camelbacks are scale. I almost bid on a recent MTH/Railking camelback on ebay. Do all of these 3-rail locomotives come off the same production line utilizing the same molds? I am wanting to keep with the smaller NON-scale equipment so it is compatible with my postwar Lionel. (I have a thread on "Size Matters" regarding the different sizes of equipment available and thought my question would be appropriate here. )
The RK CamelBack is a scale size, it just doesn't have the detailing that the more expensive models have.
Thanks. Last question, is the Williams also scale?
Have a Lionel CNJ 4-6-0 camelback in conventional mode and it is so poorly geared that it will not go around a O31 loop of track without adjusting the throttle - would probably do better on a wide radius curve - does has good detail. Looks like the LionChief+ version solves these problems. At one time the model was to be offered in Legacy mode in a future catalogue but it never was produced - not enough preorders?
Once more do any of you know if the Williams camelback was scale?
When they make this with blue tooth I am gonna buy one.
Not familiar with the Williams Camelback. However, if it was the brass model, it obviously was scale.
