Hi Joe,

I will e-mail you some of the drawings tonight.

By the way, I have e-mailed you twice and didn't hear anything back.....did you get my e-mails??

Thanks,

Alan

I think there is a market for modern, high-rise style buildings, but unfortunately I see it as a limited one. I think that the average O scale layout just doesn't have the room for it. Maybe if they could be made very modular, they would be able to be made in enough sized configurations to appeal to a wider group.

I think factories and warehouses might have more of a market. Again on a modular basis so they could be made to fit many applications. Make the walls in various materials so that a few basic ones could be painted differently to look like many different buildings.

Frank, I enjoy your drawings. Thanks for sharing.

Frank drew some great warehouses if I remember right. I don't have any copies of them to show. Frank??

Good Day,

I posted this idea several years ago. Modular warehousing would be a great addition for model railroaders. Need a larger and longer warehouse?.............. no problem, just add a few middle modular
units. You could do the same for a diesel maintenance facility building. Want a diesel maintenance building to hold two SD70ACe in each stall?..........need a building 48" long?

Swafford

It would have to be railroad specific in O Scale

Perhaps an O Scale replica of the Santa Fe building in Chicago or SOO LINE building in Minneapolis, for a creative placement next to the tracks. They would have to have the historic railroad name signs replicated.

What I am looking for are N scale building FRONTS that look exactly like the buildings in Minneapolis. The closest so far are the Atlas N Scale High-Rise additions that resemble the IDS Center in Minneapolis.
