He did a 6 part BBC series called Toy Stories that is absolutely fantastic. In each episode he took a toy and built a life size version of it. For the episode on Airfix he made a life sized plastic Spitfire kit. For the Meccano episode he made a working footbridge. For the Lego episode he made a life sized house from Lego. For the Hornby episode he laid down the track on a former real rail line. The train episode was the only challenge where they failed though I still think it set the record for longest train layout (10 miles - real, not scale!) He revisited that challenge a year later with the help of the people from Miniatur Wunderland.
