Kitbash Article Using Two Bachmann Coaling Towers

A note from my personal index of CTT says "Upgrade Plasticville Coaling Tower, CTT,  Oct 2004, page 51" .  That may be it but I do not have my magazine to check for you at this time.

CORRECTED Post as stated above.

 I want to correct the above.  When I got downstairs to my Oct 2004 CTT and I found my index was in error.  This issue does not have an article on Plasticville Coaling Tower modifications.  I am sorry if anyone went searching for it.

Trainmster  -   the other two photos that Charlie posted are from my layout,  if want some more information, I will try to help explain what I did on that kitbash...  It's been more than a few years but I can certainly shoot some more photos and describe what I did.  I increased the height of the coaling towers when I did this and probably utilized a 3rd kit.....

Alan,    I really should take this opportunity to thank you, Rich, Allan and everyone else on the OGR staff.   There is no doubt that my ability to build my layout has been very positively influenced by participating in this forum.   There are many many highly skilled model railroaders here, who have generously shared really worthwhile information, tips, suggestions, photographs, videos, etc....  I have learned a lot here, and try to give back whenever possible, "pay it forward" so to speak.   

Thanks for the responses and pictures. Alan, I agree this site provides so much information and people willing to help. All you have to do is ask.
