I don't know Chuck.  I am sure he is competent.

If this is nothing more than a cleanup and re-lube it should go smoothly.  But once in a while these old models need re-quartering, side rod re-fitting, crankpin cap adjustment, crosshead alignment, maybe piston rod adjustment, and in rare cases crankpin plugging and re-drilling.  Pre-war Berks have eaten axle gears, and as of right now I am not sure NWSL is supplying replacement gearboxes.

But most run fine after cleanup and re-lube.  It was a fairly good design, all things considered.
