That’s very impressive and well worth the wait. What are the dimensions of the layout and can you provide some information on the mountain and trestle?

Thank you.   Layout is  19 x10.5.        Trestle is scratch built using balsa and the top of the trestle is a Ross Bridge.     Mountains again scratch built using inch and a quarter styrofoam board used for insulation.  Sold at Lowe’s and Home Depot.

Very, very nice. I wish that mine looked as good, but I'm doing my best.

Yours is Hi-Rail for sure, but I do like the PW bones showing in the Super-O loop with the modern Geep, and the fact that the caboose on that train appears to be the same Lionel SP-style that came with my set in 1955. Command 18V running through that caboose bulb really makes it look nuclear.

Paint the shiny rails more realistically in Camo Brown or Rail Brown.....? They would then go with the rest of the layout's feel.
