This little set came today. I opened up the box to check it out. The fit and finish are excellent. Well done LCCA.

I ended up passing on this but am looking forward to hearing comments and reviews.
I ordered the PS3 version and I am waiting. What carrier delivered it? UPS or FedEx?
Seems us left coasters get our stuff a week later. I WANT IT NOW
Glad they are showing up so I know mine will be along soon.

Wow. very nice. Love the color. Thanks for sharing
Very nice looking.
Okay, I thought that MTH was sending back my 256 from repairs but no......it was my Prospector set with the PS 3.0. Looks great and my luck, of course, just ask Steve if you do not believe me, it arrived broken with a pickup roller and pin having come off. I was able to repair it and it runs great. I just wish it would have had a smoke unit but now that I have looked at it I can see where it would not fit. The PS 3.0 stuff is in the drive unit behind the motor and the speaker is located at the rear of the back shell blocking the light from coming in. Nice set and runs well after some time on my layout. Please enjoy the video since it was a quick job with my cell phone....I forgot to charge up the video camera.

Me too.
Terry thanks for the pictures and CaptainCog/Jeff thanks for the video.
Fabulous looking paint. I wonder if they used another GM/Cadillac custom paint color like they did on the previous Lake Shore set that I was told used a GM Cadillac Eldorado paint. From the video posted, the orange metallic color (reminds me of either a Cadillac or Olds Toronado color from the early '70's) looks better than the prototype that was at York.
Looks and sounds great Jeff. Can hardly wait for mine to arrive.

Jeff. Thanks for the video. It sounds real nice! I think they did a great job on it and I'll think of the late Lou Capone every time I run it. These last two tinplate projects may have never got past the planing stages had it not been for Lou.
Nice video. Good demonstration of the sounds and station announcements.
Looks like a winner!
The doorbell rang while I was in the shower this morning. A LCCA box was on the porch. Got a bunch of errands to do today so it will be this evening before I open it.
