well.  I got my setup complete  used the 22 uh choke. Diode, 220 uf capacitor. supertex driver. all hooked up and it works great. I put 14 volts from the transformer brick and it lights up great.  not blaring light, but is still bright.  I am in process of painting the interior of the cars.  using a tan base.  then some medium brown on seats.  ill detail the bathroom too.  the roof of the cars will have this bright reflective tape I used for my basement bubble wrap insulation.  very sticky.  works great.  did the entire roof area to reflect a lot of light.    the circuits worked. I bent them to go around that post and then after the shape that worked.  sealed it all up with liquid tape.  this works well.  I do 2 coats to make sure the wires are not exposed.

Chris, we neophytes are fortunate that John freely supplies his expertise and provides the parts lists necessary for these conversions.  I'm no baker, but I can follow a recipe on the Betty Crocker box and make an edible, even tasty, cake--ditto the LED conversion when John supplies the "recipe."

John has indeed helped me along! I'm a civil geological scientist by trade. I wire my house no problem. All these intricate electrical components I don't know jack. I'm learning all the time. My success is because of mr. Gunrunner! A salute to you john! And others who we ask more than enough from. Your guys generosity is worth a million. I could never do this without you guys help.  My sincere thanks.!
I peeled the backing off and it really sticks to the reflective tape. Maybe I'll do that too. I used some liquid nails multi purpose to bed part of circuit to the shell.  Got seating painted and isles painted a tan brown. A few little touches and figures in. I didn't need to do this. But while they are apart. Why not!  Still have to wire the bottom with the poly fuse. And solder up connections and put all together.
