Let me begin by saying I am a newbie so please bare with me.  I need some advise.

I powered up my legacy 990 this evening and the remote would not stay on.  It would only power up if I held down the "ctc" button, then it only flash a quick second and went gray (off).  I have been using standard AA batteries in it so I changed them out, nothing.  I unplugged the base, turned off my power block and transformer.  At this point I pulled the batteries again.  Left all off and out for 5 minutes.  I then reinserted the batteries, powered up the base, power block and transformer.  Again nothing.  If I unplug the Legacy I can run my engine with the transformer.

Hoping someone would have a suggestion or fix I might try, thanks.

Have you tried the rechargeable batteries that come with 990 and letting them get charged up.

Maybe one of the battery connections has been affected by Gremlins!

Stuff happens sometimes for nor apparent reason, I had to fight with my DCS controller for 2 months before it decided break time was over (its from 2009).
