Legacy engine modules

Where is info stored? I want to try out a new legacy mikado at local lhs before I
Buy to make sure it works ok out of box.
Should I bring my cab2 to Lhs so as not to
Clutter up their remote with engine info?

2hour drive there.don't want to get home and be bummed if broken. BTW Lhs is
Authorized repair center!

The information is stored in the command base, not in the CAB2.

As John said all the info for the Cab-2 is stored in the base. As soon as your Cab-2 sees the LHS's base it will show you all the info in theirs. When you return home it will show your base's info. It's a great feature for those who want to visit a layout and bring their Cab-2 to use

Thanks guys. Do these engines work on 036 fast track curves and switches? I know the overhang will look silly. I plan on exspanding the layout later. This section I am using now will be part of a branch line later. But would like to get one while available in my road name now.

Lionel thinks it runs on O36: Missouri Pacific 2-8-2 Legacy and I have no reason do doubt them.
