HOORAY! It came today!!!! I just have a couple of questions...

#1. Is it supposed to come with a different Legacy module? Both my PM 1225 and PM tender came with modules.

#2. For those that have set this up... How exactly do you have things loaded in your system to be able to switch between tenders? What do I need to do to set this up so I don't muck up my existing settings?

Thanks!

I was going to make a comment about having a new tender behind but that one has already been beaten to death...

For the life of me I have no idea why the PM tender would even have a module when one came with the PM engine. The engine basically sets up the programming for the tender/engine combo by sliding the program run switch. The tender doesn't have a pgm/run switch.

Now I can see if the PE came with one so that it renames the engine for running as the Polar Express.
I placed the tender on the track and fired things up. Almost everything works fine including the backup light. I was hoping to hear a bit more sound bites from the movie but maybe I haven't played with it enough. The one question remaining is about the coupler. When I fire the coupler there is a slight buzzing noise. Is this an easy adjustment or is it indicative of a sound problem?

If you've heard " All abooaaard"!,and "this is the Polar Express"! thats it.If you were expecting something along the lines of a "stationsounds diner" you'll be disappointed. I would imagine its a copyright nightmare trying to grab extensive actual dialog from the movie without paying $2000 for a tender.
