Hello all, hoping to get some advice. Just got in the brand new Lionel Legacy Ten-Wheeler NYC 1232 about two weeks ago from Mr. Muffin’s. This is the first time out of all of my Legacy locos to seem to be having signal issues where the lights will flicker and it will not react to the CAB-2 remote and even struggled with Bluetooth unless I hold my hand over the body (boiler) of the locomotive. Although, it is intermittent. There is nothing causing interference, even on the testing track it will not work and then work.
I don’t mind taking apart the loco to check something but…it is brand new and under warranty. Should I just email Lionel?
Also, I do not use the smoke unit so no idea if it would be causing a problem.
