I'm sure it has been posted about before, but what is your favorite custom paint job?

I have one good idea in the works, the Commodore 64 Vanderbilt. The Commodore 64 was and to date the best selling computer with 27 million being sold worldwide.

The NYC Commodore Vanderbilt didn't make it past the scrappers' torch so that bears the question: what if it did? I always wondered if Commodore Computers would have used the Commodore Vanderbilt to promote sales? Even if they didn't, it would be a cool idea.

Marx + Commodore 64 + Tinplate, what's not to like!?

A sampling; I've done more than a few:

Scratch built in styrene (not by me; Weaver internals) Ingalls diesel; I completed the unfinished loco and painted/lettered it; Ingalls Shipbuilding built only one example (they planned a full line), and ultimately sold the demonstrator to the GM&O. Unfortunately it is not my model:

Weaver FA-2; I have corrected the horn(s) with a 5-chime:

Pretty much my only custom paint job.I had the decals custom made too.I am still in amazement how tedious it was and long it took to make a custom car.Oh well,it was worth it.I can't believe Lionel or MTH didn't make this car.Model trains,The Three Stooges and beer, seems like a home run to me.
