Just hooked up my floodlight towers. The one has two 8mm .5watt WA LEDs and the other has 4 5mm ultra ww. The 8mm ones are doing most of the work. I took these pictures with my phone and no other light. I want to thank Dale H for the examples he described on another site.

Very impressive John, but now the big question. You going to share with us on how you did them? I have a bunch of LED's coming that I ordered for my airfield and should have some left over for a light tower.

I use a PC power supply for all my lighting, including buildings. The four light tower LEDs are just connected in series to the 12vdc. The two light tower LEDs are also in series with a 68ohm resistor. I will have to take pictures on the next one. I got a lot of help here. Dale H has a lot of good information on this site and many thanks go to him. The 5mm ultra brite ww I got from led-switch, and the 8mm wide angle I got from lighthouse-led. I had to remove the light sockets and drill out the opening on each tower to match the led.
