Hello,

I posted a reply on an old thread pertaining to the Lionel 140 banjo signal but it may not be active any longer. The question I have is with respect to the washers inside the drum. Is the drive washer (the one with three small “teeth”) cemented to the “brass” washer that is in front of the coil? I know that one of the washers is cemented to something but just not sure where. Thank you.

So here are some photos of mine.  Took it apart so you could see the rubber drive with the rubber fingers.  It is stuck, “glued” to the vibrotor with the adhesive washer(disk).  I had one go bad, when I peeled the rubber “drive” off the motor, you can see the glue drops on the adhesive washer.  That’s all there is to it, that I can see.  Hope this helps.
