Lionel 6-83490 and/or 6-37912 coal station dimensions

Does anyone have access to or knowledge of the dimensions, inside the support columns , of this Lionel accessory? I know the products stated dimensions are 5.5 x 5.5 x19.5 inches. I am trying to determine if I have enough space while still accounting for cab/boiler swing.

It's 3"&3/8 between the supports.
