I hooked this up. I used my test bench transformer The ball spins at a very low voltage ; but the golfers movement is hardly discernible at all levels of power. 
Before I tear this thing apart ; is this the norm? Has anyone else worked on this?

The "swing" of the golfers is underwhelming and unconvincing. I opened up this accessory intending to improve their wimpy performance, but to no avail - the swing action is not adjustable. Then I couldn't get it back together, so I placed it back on my layout as a static accessory.

Thanks so much for your input. I’ll keep my hands off and install it as is. At least the ball/sign rotates.
