Lionel Legacy Mogul Update

Hi Everyone!

Quick update on the Moguls. Apologies for the delay in a response - this is a very busy time of year for Engineering!

Have the replacement parts. Have spent a few days with them and trying to work out the kinks in the system. Going to take a little bit more time. I'll try to have an update by the end of next week. Again, sorry for the delay on this engine. I know many people have been waiting quite a few months, but trust me - I've been working hard on this one!

If you have any questions, let me know. I can't point to specifics yet as I'm still working on it. Thanks!

So I have one question as I prepare for the time to send mine in. Do we need to supply a copy of the receipt, or will Lionel just accept all these locomotives? It got misplaced so I need to know if I have to turn the house inside out or not to find it to get this taken care of when you are ready for them.

Sinclair, sounds like a call to Lionel support. Just called them yesterday on another issue, they picked up in less than 30 seconds.

My recollection is that you need to call Lionel in order to get an RA before you can send the Mogul back. I don't know for sure if they will require the receipt or not, but I assume at least the date and place of purchase.

The shops I deal with - MMuffin, Trainworld, ModelTrain&Stuff - keep electronic receipts of your online purchases.

Lionel support states they need a receipt and will issue an RA before you can send something to them.
