WTB. Hoping someone is able to help. I've been looking for the copper strip used on pre war pick up assemblies (SLS-40). Someone had made them in the past as I got some at auction a few years ago but used them up. This is the UN embossed strip, later assemblies were embossed with the raised rib on the strip. JLM trains makes the embossed if anyone is looking for those. I've touched base with Jeff Kane at Train Tender and Paul at TrainWorx- both a no go. Asked around at shows- and come up empty handed. I've starting making the assemblies mostly from original parts but that copper unembossed strip is proving elusive. Any help would be appreciated and would buy any quantity up to 100 (reasonably priced). If interested please email me -found in my profile.
