Roller is probably being lifted up by something. Try placing a level across all legs of switch and then move slowly from left to right. If level doesn't stay on all track pieces simultaneously as you slide it from left to right, you've found your culprit. May have to relay switch or might even have to buy a new switch if you can't repair the alignment.
