Got (3) of these cars from Charlie Ro & have no problems with any of the wheels rolling freely.

Good to hear they work from Charlie Ro. I am interested in a few of these cars but do not want to spend the cash $$only to have "trucks/wheel issues" I am reading about. I wonder if its some and not all. Appears to be a QC issue on the manufacturing end in China. Hopefully Lionel gets this resolved. For now I am holding off on this purchase.
Not sure it matters where they came from. Mine came from Ro and broke.... They're all from the same run.
That being said, I called Lionel Monday, and came home from York to find replacement bearing caps in the mail box. No complaints on that kind of turn around.
