Hi Guys,

Got a great deal on the #4294 SP Cab Forward from Nassau Hobby over the President's Day Weekend.

I was amazed as to the level of detail on this locomotive, as well as the sublime sound set.

I snapped the below video of my newest acquisition and wanted to share with you all.  The GoPro captured some great close-ups of the Cab Forward; it really highlights what a piece of work this engine truly is.

**I downloaded the GoPro video editor from their website and used it in this video for the fade in/out effects.  I am still in the process of educating myself with respect to all of the functionality, but I think it came out pretty good for a first run -hrough...let me know what you guys think...**

Please watch in 1080p for optimal quality.

I hope you all enjoy, please feel free to leave comments.

Michael

Both, the older, and the latest Legacy versions are nice. Legacy is just my favorite. Enjoy.

Plus the Legacy version has the 4-chuffs per revolution articulated sound package, while the earlier version was not 4-chuffs per revolution (I had to send mine to Train America Studios in order to get it up-graded).

P.S. I actually prefer the crew talk on the TMCC version of 4294 but I guess I am in a minority.

Hahaha, sounds good on the Carpet Railroad Society!

Thanks, PTC.  It has been a joy to operate thus far.  I was a bit taken back at the amount of details on this locomotive, it definitely ranks up there close to JLC/VL territory.

 Larry,

Have to agree with you on Legacy.  It is a pleasure to operate, as well as the wonderful array of features and options!

Hmmm...interesting...did not know about the placement of traction tires.  I guess its both good and bad to know....ha!
