Came home to my crossing gates today. They look great! You have a very satisfied first-time customer. I've just started to dip my toe into the tinplate waters, with a lone starter set that's run under the Christmas tree, but I think I'm hooked. I now have to decide whether to incorporate tinplate into my postwar-style layout or totally redo it. Decisions, decisions!

German,

The tinplate #46 crossing gates are better proportioned and look more realistic than the Postwar goliaths Lionel made after them.  Matter of fact, they even look good on realistic 3-rail layouts, and that is how I am using mine.  I wrapped dark road material around the roadway of a #46 so it would blend in with my roads.  Looks great!

All that, and Charlie's price for #46s just can't be beat.  Anyone who is attracted to #46s should get a pair while they still can at this price.  I already have four, but it is frustrating not to be able to advantage of such a good deal

Charlie, where were you when I needed my last two?
