Looking to see how well certain semi trailers size up to MTH Premier Spine cars.  I found some 1/53 scale trailers at this weekends train show that looked close but could match them up with the spine cars.  I am looking to get some modern trailers (UPS,Fedex, USF Reddaway, Yellow, Swift, Conway, JB Hunt, etc) 28's to 53's.  Will 53 foot trailers fit on the 5 spine car set from MTH Premier?  I know 1/50 to 1/48 scale is a closer match but I can't find those trailers in those sizes.  Any other suggestions?

Thanks

Tyler

The problem with O scale 1:50 tractor trailers is you either get current production or limited 1930-1950 style products. Only Atlas o for 1980's 45' trailers and MTH 48' and 40' trailers. Lionel latest 1950-1960 "40' trailer"( really 37 1/2 scale feet long) or Toyish K-Line at scale 38' long.

Limited in correct paint and/or decor fro the years the trailers we're produced in reality.
