I have a loose wire on a MTH tender that is preventing the rear coupler from firing. When I insert the tip of the wire into the pinhole it fires. So somehow I need to secure the wire. Should I solder, super glue, or any other ideas? It is extremely small and hard to get to. I attached a photo and the small tip of the silver wire is visible ar the tip of the pencil.

Needs to be soldered, to maintain electrical contact. No glue will do.
It's a doable solder job. A dot of flux on the wire end and brief contact between the wire and the attachment spot on the coupler with the iron. Just a delicate touch. Good luck.

Remove the tender shell, remove the truck, and soldering access should be better.
Tweezer to hold wire in hole with tender on side as in picture and touch the solder on the bottom of the hole and it should fix it. G
