Loose wire GP 35 Legacy

While I can see that part number I don’t know what locomotive this goes in. What’s the loco product number this will go in?

Need some pictures of the circuit board head on to see the wiring from the top.

I know where the 2 gray wires connect, disconnected because they are pretty short

You need to make the pictures large enough to actually see detail.  Also, don't hide the switch assembly in the shell, pull it out so we can actually see it!

No offense, but I don't think you get the concept of big!  This is what I'm talking about!  Click on the graphic to enlarge.  I can actually see the detail here, I can't in your pictures.

From the look of it it needs to go to the middle pin of the bottom switch but I can't tell for sure I need a better picture of the bottom of the assembly. John correct me if I am wrong but this is what I can tell based off of BURK's wiring diagrams.

It looks like it's the common wire that goes to all three switches.  It's on the end of the connector, and the AUX Smoke isn't available on this engine, so the pink wire would logically not be there.

Hopefully the attachments can be enlarged, more importantly there is enough information to determine where the loose yellow wire attaches.

Like I said, it's the common wire.  All of the switches have a single wire going to them already, and the position of that wire in the connector makes it the common.

The blobs if hot glue make it hard to see exactly where it came loose, you may have to remove those to connect it again.

If I may make one more request. Please take a look at the attached picture and tell me where  and how to attach the yellow wire.

It would help if the pictures were clear.  All you have to do is hold the camera farther away.  You can later crop the picture to just have the desired view.

There's a wire that connects all the center terminals of the switch, I suspect you'll see that there is no external connection to that wire.  That's where the yellow wire connects.  If you look close, you'll probably see the spot where it used to soldered, but it can connect anywhere on that center row of contacts.

Thanks gunerunnerjohn. The engine is now running really good. The horn and smoke don't work but I will play with trains without these perks, these were not included in my original problem, only where  did the  yellow wire ,go was the question.

Sorry about the pictures, will  try to make better ones , the next time help is requested, you can bet you last dollar , all available information will be made known.
