So why is it that Classic Toy Trains charges almost $40.00 for a year's subscription, while most magazines on the market are going for pennies in comparison. This Old House magazine, for example, is only $10.00 for a year's subscription. My wife gets Time for next to nothing. Inquiring minds want to know.

Bet the cost to subscribe differences between the 3 have just a little to do with those numbers.
Good point. Hadn't thought of it quite that way.
The advertisers in those mags have much more in their add budgets so the mag price in minimal for the subscribers.
