Hi there,

I am having trouble getting my Marx automatic crossing gate to work.   I have it situated along an insulated section three or four pieces long (O-27).   The center rail is insulated.  I have one lockon just outside the insulated section, with one wire leading from it to one of the terminals on the gate.  From the OTHER terminal on the gate, a wire leads to the lockon JUST INSIDE the insulated section.  The lockons are wired in such a fashion that one wire is hooked up to the middle rail on lockon "A"  and lockon "B" has the outside rail hooked up.  The problem is that when the locomotive enters the insulated section the gate lowers momentarily, and thats it.  Train stops gate goes back up.  I apologize because I must be missing something blindingly obvious here.  I think thats all I know though.  Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.
