Saw two freights come up on the Bay recently that were both modified Lumar floor train gondolas. One was lettered BL&E and sat on O gauge 8-wheel trucks with one way couplers, the other was repainted GNW and had 8-wheel trucks with tab and slot couplers. The seller claimed they were prototypes but had no marking to that effect. Has anyone ever attempted to power one of the Lumar locos?

I supposed it is possible to stick a Sante Fe 21 chassis under there or a Unique Art 2000 Rock Island but you would need large radius turns to keep it on track.

I have thought about it, but I have a Flyer Minihaha and they look too similar. The one that may get done someday is the shorter one with a tender.
