I reckoned I would add a few more photos of the layout.  New pictures and different angles.  Plus, Cook Lumber finally made it to Espanola.

Panama Red is back in town!

OK, Al, let's see if we can kick of the winter with a few more contributions to this forum.  We have been kind of stagnant recently.

Did Sandy harm any thing on your new home to be?

The cook is calling, time to go.

Al,

Nope.  The 1813 farmhouse still stands in all of its glory.  Still contemplating that 30' x 50' space for the final home of the J&RG.  Still a few years off but nice to think about.

Jim, it has been awhile since we have updated our good works, so I thought I should catch up on your moving to Maine.  Will you set up the layout first or the furniture?

As for myself, I am very close to the finish line on my layout that has ON30, Marx, O-gauge, as well 0-27, four trains running at the same time.

I have to thank my friend James for all the help he gave me. Friends in the forties sure are much better on the layout tops than us 70 year old.

I am looking forward to seeing your new layout and hope all goes well with your move.

Al

Al,

Still about 1 year, 11 months, and 11 days away from the move to New Hampshire [just across the border from Maine, though].  I have the space selected [the loft over the old attached barn] and will be able to build the Chili Lines from Santa Fe to Taos Junction if all goes according to plan.  I have the layout designed; just waiting for the time to move.

Recently spent a while in the hospital with congestive heart failure, caused by pneumonia in both lungs [fortunately, no damage to the heart].  During my recuperation, I built this little diorama to show off the critter and its service facility.

Will be giving three clinics at the NMRA Nationals in Atlanta in July.  In between, going to ride trains in France and Switzerland for three weeks.  Hope to see some of you in Atlanta.
