MTH gunmetal paint MATCH

Hello everyone; I am trying to match the gunmetal color on an MTH Hudson. I acquired it without a tender and have rebuilt and detailed a Williams tender for it. But I like the gunmetal color on this model and hope to match it.

If anyone has done some color matching on the MTH models, please advise on what paint product you used or method to match it.

Need to know which Hudson you’re talking about. Also, MTH had a few “ gun metal “ color variants,…….a picture of yours will be somewhat helpful, but a guaranteed way to prescribe a perfect match. If you want a perfect match, strip & repaint the locomotive shell at the same time you paint the tender,…….
