MTH Lionel Corporation Tinplate No. 6 Steam Headlight

That's the bulb for a PS/3 locomotive, so the traditional "replacement" LED bulbs won't work there, there is no resistor or diode inside the bulb like replacement bulbs, just a bare LED.

I checked, but I have none of them in stock.

I believe this is the TP-MS00151 (PS3) (LED) (Screw Base) (large globe) (Note: This is a regular clear bulb with an LED inside)

Did you do a reset? Did you check the bulb with the diode function on your multimeter?  They do go bad, but it’s rare.  I have them, but to ship one the cost may be prohibitive.  Might be best to wait until the MTH parts site is up if you need other parts.

Thanks every one.  I guess I’ll keep looking.  The problem is that when I was putting it up for storage. The bulb fell out of the base.  So after unscrewing it, I stuck the led/bulb back into the case and proceeded to test it using AC leads to track power.  I didn’t realize the transformer handle was already at 14v already and I got a quick flash and it did not work after that.  I guess I’ll keep looking.

GunRunner, is this something you can re order?

@Jon G has the answer, we have to wait for MTH Parts to come back from the dead.  If you really want one now, Jon apparently has them.  Given your last post, there's no doubt that you need one, the LED doesn't take kindly to 14V!  FWIW, all PS/3 bulbs are LED's, so they need to be tested with DC from a current limited supply.
