Recently acquired a set of K-Line F7 AAs in Northern Pacific livery, K-25501.
These are my first K-Line diesels and I've read they had provision for a battery in the lead A unit. I'd like to remove the shell to check to see if there's a battery, and to inspect the guts of the loco, and the trailing A unit.
So, any advice on removing the shells for such inspection would be welcome.
