I need a full set of replacement wheels for my old Lionel 8e. Mine has the small driver gears vs the ones that the gears are nearly the side of the wheel. Mine are swelled up from zinc pest and are jamming the drive. Also need one of the silver axle box cover details that go on the black chassis. Mike

You might want to check Mike's Trains & Hobbies website. That is the only place I found that has wheel sets for the 8E, and similar electrics. The other usual suppliers didn't list any. From the Olsen Toy Train Library it shows the part numbers as: SM-72 Plain Wheel, SM-75 Geared Wheel. Good luck. I think I saw the price at $26.95 for the set.

I sent an email to Mike's Mine is a 1925 model with the long wheel base super motor but no E unit. Hopefully I will hear something on monday, shows he is closed on weekends. Mike
