Please continue.  I'm sure mostly LCCA members read the forum, and it is easier to keep up to date on what's happening while one is already on the OGR forum.

It seems to me that any news for LCCA shows up here first.  I prefer having an

exclusive LCCA page.  I don't do Facebook and the LCCA website is never up to date.

This seems to be the best place for me to find out what is going on with the club.

Al, I get more up-to-date info quicker on this forum than on the LCCA website and I visit both every day. Please keep posting to this forum if possible.

 

One thing that's good about this venue is that you can make announcements here and direct folks to go to the LCCA website for more complete information.

I am on this forum more times then I want to admit!

Liked it better in the 3 rail section. I don't remember to check this section that often. Didn't see the need for the change. I am not and will not be on Facebook.

I check this for new topics about once per day.

I like it.While checking out the other forums I look here for any LCCA up dates.It's like one stop shopping.

Because of the complainers on these forums about too much posting by us Lcca members a new forum was created. I do find myself not checking the separate forum. I do wish it was eliminated and put back to where it was. 

I'm not a LCCA  member, but did stumble here after reading Lou's recent post about the Texas Tommy cutback.  (curiosity coincidentally just made me click on the LCCA forum section after reading).  Just figured you'd like another data point.

It's just as easy to check in here when cruising the forums.

I read this section but not daily.

I read this topic.

I like this much better because it consolidates the updates.  I think it was a good move to give the LCCA a special forum of its own..

That is NOT why these club forums were started! We had discussed this internally for several weeks prior to launching these new forums. The fact that we launched these new forums at a time when there were a lot of LCCA postings on the main forum was a complete coincidence.

 

I know the constant complainers here will never believe that, but it is what it is.

 

No Facebook for me either. MAJOR invasion of privacy there.

First time reader, only because of what was in the "recent posts" on the right side. Otherwise, I'm not planning on visiting it anymore, sorry. You asked.

Al, I very seldom go to this forum site unless I hear of something such as Louies notice on the main forum in regards to reduction of the TS set.

 

I do find it strange that this site has more up to date info than our own LCCA web site.

Everything item I post on the OGR forum regarding LCCA Spevial Events is posted  on the LCCA Website www.lielcollectors.org first.  I suspect some people  are not going to the correct tab on our website.  People may not be seeing all of the information we have posted on our website,because we have so much activity.  I encourage people to explore our website and click on all of the tabs near the bottom of our website front page.  Every event is posted on our website first.   We have several pages of Special Events.  Maybe peope are only looking at the first page.  All of our LCCA videos  are posted in the Video Gallery section.  We have hundreds of videos, you just need to keep scrolling down page after page.

I never check the new club section of the forum. I do, however, look at the recents posts isting and, if LCCA announcements are listed there, I will read them.

I am on the Forum daily (and not Facebook member), so the Club sections are the best way to get the latest news and notices. Please KEEP the Club sections on the Forum.

Up on "The D & H Bridge Line"

Hi Al, I drop in three or four times a week. For the other clubs I read them about once a week.

I kind of like it this way, it gives me a special place to go when the main page is slow.

 

As for the LCCA club site, I might go there a coupe of times a month for the same reason.
