New layout project - factory bridge | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

Hello all, I thought I'd would share a project I am working on for my layout. I have a factory that consists of two large building fronts with a double track running between them. I thought I would be cool to have a covered factory bridge the two buildings and also provide a vignette so you can't see where the tracks go. I got my inspiration from this image

I drew up this wall panel in Fusion 360 and saved it as an STL

Here is a 3D SLA printer plate loaded up with 5 sections ( each panel is 6"w x 5" tall)

Now I need to wait and see if my supports hold up Only 10hrs to wait!

Still printing more panels. Trying to get a happy medium between supports that remove easily and enough support to keep it stuck to build plate.

Thats a pretty fancy prototype for a factory bridge. Most of the ones around me were just covered in corrugated tin. It will certainly be an eye catcher on the layout! Cant wait to see it finished!

I finished all the pieces I need for the layout. I wound up scaling down the wall sections to fit the building it going on better.

This is so cool! There was similar bridge at the old Packard plant in Detroit at West Grand Boulevard and Mount Elliot when I worked for Coca-Cola Enterprises. Can’t to see more!
