I noticed that MTH is moving a lot of older Videos to Youtube, so I asked MTH Facebook if the New Website was coming or something else good and got a reply that they were preparing for the new Website and expecting it in a few weeks, hopefully.. Of course there have been claims of the Website coming in a month for years, but they said now that the Videos are being moved for that purpose and that they will be on Youtube, but only accessed through the MTH Website...

EXCELLENT news! I hope they finally have the parts listings and diagrams updated on the new site. At least the common stuff that is cataloged often would be nice. The parts ordering and dealer portal sites are both badly in need of updating too. They need to catch up with Lionel's web site!
I agree. Lionel's site has set the bar, especially for part ordering. I hope MTH meets the challenge.

I doubt it!
A "parts ordering experience" that is the equal or near-equal experience that I get
with Lionel's system would be used by me regularly. Another source of scratch building
and bashing supplies, plus the occasional repair (rare).
Unfortunately, MTH (the Corporate Anonymity ID) has a track record of complexity
and obfuscation (use that word once a year; feels good) in some things, so I won't
hold my breath. I hope that I am wrong, but I'll bet that I'm not.
Just copy Lionel's parts system/customer interface; change the headers;
make it easy. Please.
Another thing that MTH said was that they`ll be getting back to making Videos after the new Website comes around..
I hope the factory can make enough parts to meet the demand.

thats a whole different topic if MTH answered this forum they would tell you take it easy one step at a time
Just having the parts breakdown for the new products would be a big plus.
Anything would be better than the current one.
I hope they get the parts breakdowns with item numbers. You should see what a dealer has to do to get warranty repair parts with no part number.
Thanks
Pat
I've become painfully aware of that Pat!
Not sure of exactly when the new site will be online, but it should be before the end of summer. I think you are going to see a very cool parts search function, just give it a bit of time to pull together
And I still think they need a virtual Midge
Hi all,
I agree that exploded parts diagrams of all the newer items are long overdue and would be great for both us as customers and for dealers, too.
Another thing that I hope the new Website does is improve the MTHRRC (MTH's club) pages. For instance, in the past, club members had access to digital versions (pdfs) of the Crossing Gate, the club's periodic newsletter. A number of years ago, this access disappeared and the newsletters are no longer accessible. They should be, obviously.
Happy training and God bless America.
Chris
Don't weary about website have them get product out on time. you shouldn't have to wait till july for item with a dec. delivery date.
The MTHRRC also has`t sent out a Club Newsletter for about a year.. I`ve ask`d when they`d get back to deliveries, but they`re never sure..
Uhh... I just got the MTHRRC magazine a couple of days ago, 2014 Volume 1. Apparently, this is the first one for 2014.
I just received My 2014 VOL 1 MTHRRC Newsletter today and there`s a nice article on the TINPLATE Archives Discs of HSLINC..
