Here are a few more pictures. I have pretty much completed the main structure except for the roof and the first floor under the road. I found some stick on scroll work that I will add to the corners. I am pretty sure you will still see the detail after I paint over them. I used three cast ceramic benches I found at Hobby Lobby in the flower department for the roof scrolling. I got two pieces out of each bench.

That is one breathtaking building, Alan.
Is that roofing Plastruct PS-16? It's nearly A$70.00 for a pack of two 12" x 7" sheets here.

That is Evergreen metal roofing. It comes in an individual pack with one 6" x 12" sheet that has grooves on about 1/2-inch centers. Evergreen provides strips that you glue into each groove. I had it laying around so I used it. Check out Evergreens website or send for a catalog. They have a lot of great shapes made from styrene.

Alan, I am in awe of the precision you apply in fitting your projects up. Very inspiring. I use the Evergreen "standing seam roofing" all the time. I use a Touch-n-Flow applicator to get the liquid cement precisely onto the strips. Alan didn't explain it, but those strips are very thin and can be frustrating, but the end results are worth it.

I am pounding away on this model. I can see the daylight to completion. I have to complete the storefronts and awnings and add some lights. Here are some pictures of the roadway and lower sidewall construction. The building was painted with Krylon Chalk Board Paint. I got it while walking through Hobby Lobby. I think it was a great choice for a stone structure like this.

I painted the building with three different shades of grey krylon chalk board paint. It was a perfect paint to capture stone colors.
