I will have a playground/park on my HO layout and I plan on naming it “Veterans Park”. At the entrance, next to the name plate I would like to have an O Scale soldier, preferably in his dress uniform, that I can paint bronze to serve as a statue.
I have seen several O scale action figures but would prefer one standing at attention or saluting as I feel it would make a better statue.
Any suggestions?

Check out Tamiya 1/48 kit #32552 US Army at Rest. There's a figure of Eisenhower and also Patton that may fit the bill. Check out E-By also. One can usually find them there. But make sure its the 1/48 kit 32552 is the 1/48 scale. They also made a 1/35 kit same figures but larger.
Easy to make a pedestal. I used a Marx Lincoln figure stand made from foam board. But of course mine is for "O" scale.
