O scale on NMRA Mid-Eastern layout Tour

Two O scale railroads in Ford’s Colony Williamsburg will be participating in the NMRA Mid-Eastern Convention home layout tours Saturday October 20th from 10 AM until 2 PM.  Directions and layout descriptions are available at the convention.  They are John Robert’s C&O Newport News theme railroad and my PRR Middle Division/Pittsburgh Division layout.  I’ve had the pedal to the metal for the last several months working to get the Tyrone and Clearfield branch in operation along with scenery down the main aisle.  I hope some of the OGR Forum members are among the visitors.

I'd like to see what's been taking place since February when I visited, but I was planning on going to the convention.  Will there be anybody selling anything at the convention tomorrow or is it auction only after the dinner?  I was hoping to pick up some detail parts.  Are they letting the general public in and if so, what's the cost of admission?

 

If anyone goes to see Eds layout, be prepared...to stuff your eyeballs back into their sockets .  One heck of a layout he's got.
