Two of our club members have just purchased older TMCC locomotives (K-Line Berkshire & Lionel Switcher) and want to run with the Lionel App if possible. I've no experience with the app and would like to be able to advise them. What do we do please?

I think in order to do this, you need to have the Legacy Command Base with the WiFi LCS module.
There is information at the following link for the LCS app and iCab app.
The LCS Module and Base-1L plus the app should get their engines running. The Legacy command base will give more options for Legacy locomotives, but the older 1L works fine for the older TMCC engines.

I think we need to know if you mean Lionel LCS iCab or the Lionel LC Bluetooth App. As stated above the iCab app will work with the additional hardware but the Lionel LC Bluetooth App is a non starter. There is no way of operation them from the LC app.
